The best thing I found on Twitter this week is a news that people are more aware of the Cardamom Rainforest (locates in Asia) protection in order to provide enough place for birds to make their nests. I am happy to see that animal protection becomes a worldwide action. My favorite tweet’s title is “Special Defense Mechanism That Ants Use to Kill Their Enemies”. This tweet explains why ants from different places have different moving patterns. This tweet also informs the readers about how ants use hydrocarbon to recognize their group numbers and protect themselves. I tried to follow an account that relates to migratory birds this week because I read “Why Bird Matters” last week. Thus, I followed USFWS MigratoryBirds. This organization gives many useful information on migratory birds. I highly recommend people who want to do research on migratory birds to follow this organization:@USFWBirds

I responded to Connie Won’s, Raffi Galajian’s and Chengxi_Zhu’s blog. Connie’s blog looks very interesting since she used many cute pictures on her blog. Raffi Glajian’s blog has a catchy paragraph on the home page that explains what his blog is about. Chengxi did self-reflection and concluded in her blog entry that she needs to take good notes while reading. I should learn from her! It is a good habit to do self-reflection regularly.

Hi Mengchen, I have also posted a couple tweets about rainforest. I see your point of rainforest provides habitats for birds, but it also produces tons of oxygens for all creatures and it keeps the ecosystem balanced. We really need to protect it!
