Final Twitter Update

This week, I tweeted 10 times about my own AP essay. I also retweeted 10 of my classmates tweets, and followed 10 accounts that I love. Tweeted ten times about the experts I used from my own AP essay helps me to revise my essay. By reading my classmates’ tweets, I learned more knowledge about animal science. For example, I learned the term “Ocean Noise Pollution” from my classmates tweets. Moreover, I saw many cute and interesting videos from my classmates’ tweets as well. At last, I followed 10 more twitter accounts that I interested in. I followed many news accounts, such as The Wall Street Journal, and BBC, since I always like to read news that happened all over the world.

This is the last twitter update for my writing 39c course. I signed up a twitter account around 2 years ago, but I did not really used it. In my mind, social media is only a tool that I can use for entertainment reason. However, Twitter is not very entertained, thus, I did not use it a lot. My writing 39c gives me a chance to use twitter a lot for learning reasons. I was very confused when I first saw that we need to use twitter for an academic writing class, because I think Twitter is not academic at all, and Twitter is not very academic. Even though Twitter is not academic, we can still find ideas from twitter, and those ideas can help us with our further research. Also, twitter can be used for advocation. With a huge customer base, Twitter is a good place for advocating people to do something, and advocation is one of our class goals.

In all, I think twitter is useful tool. I can use it for my future research studies. As a social media, I can always use twitter as tool to find information about the things I am interested in!
