I am really scared when I saw that the percentage I got for the part “Unaware that you didn’t know the answer” is 12%. In my mind, it is OK that there is something that I don’t know, because I can always learn it. The scary thing is that you though whatever you knew is correct but it is incorrect. As a Chinese student who is studying in the United States, I need to know enough English grammars. It indeed took me a lot of time and efforts to study English grammars. I know that studying grammar is a long journal, and I still need to practice writing and speaking in English so that I will make less grammar mistakes. What makes me sad is that I did not aware that the knowledge I think I know is actually wrong, for 12 percent of the time. The good thing is that now I know this. I can try to review the English grammars more often in the future. It is not too late to know my shortage. By doing this extra credit assignment, I know that I still need to improve on Run-On Sentences and Comma Splice. The ways of using comma in Chinese and English are so different that I sometimes get confused. The only way to improve is to practice more. The part that I used the least amount of time and has the highest accuracy is Subject-Verb Agreement. I am happy to see this, and I will try to keep working hard. I think these practice assignments help me to be aware of and improve my English grammars. I realize that I can get the correct answer when I did the same question that I got wrong for the first time.
