Twitter Experience:

This week, I followed many people who are bee researchers. Many of the researchers are PhD students, and many of them are college professors. I found a very good account @BeesBackyard. This is an organization about bees. The good thing about them is that they have many threads about bees. They also provide many interesting short videos about bees. The most important thing about this organization is that they provide many scientific facts about bees. For example, they will ask the audience certain body parts of bees, and they will be provided an explanation about the body parts they ask. I really found a lot of useful information from this organization. I highly recommend everyone who is studying on bees to follow this account. You will love it. I am glad that I chose bees as my topic and I had a really good time searching on bees on Twitter.

AB Review Experiences:

I reviewed Arman Avagian, Chengxi Zhu, and Kaiyang Jiang's annotated bibliography this week. Arman Avagian chose a very interesting topic, wolves. I think it is a good topic since we have read Safina’s article about wolves. Arman did a good job on finding articles because it is easy for me to realize that he is doing research on social behaviors. However, it may be better for him to change the background of his research agenda since the background is not wolves, but jelly fish now. He should try to include more information about the researchers to make his research articles sound more credible. Chengxi’s research is on cetacean. I think he found good articles, and made good conclusions on the research articles. However, he can make his website more appealing. Kaiyang’s research focus is on carnivores, however, I think this topic may be too broad since there are many animals in the carnivore family, and their social behavior may differ too much. I am not sure if it is better for him to narrow down his research topic. Among all the three classmates I reviewed, only Kaiyang’s annotation format is correct MLA citation format. The other two have some little problems on citation.
